Cannabis Infused Turkey Roast

Meaty Turkey and Cannabis Gravy

Our favorite way to make cannabis turkey roast is to use meaty gravy infused with cannabis. It’s surprisingly easy to make; again, you will need some cannabutter

For the cannabis gravy, you must prepare the turkey first. The sweet fat drippings will go into the sauce, cannabutter, flour, turkey broth, and a little seasoning. Melt the turkey fat in a large bowl, then add the flour, broth, cannabutter, and salt. Melt it all and serve hot.

Marijuana-Infused Turkey Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4kg turkey at room temperature
  • 1 sprig sage
  • 12 strips of streaky bacon
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • 3 red onions
  • A handful of breadcrumbs
  • 300g minced pork
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 large egg
  • 12 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 litters chicken or turkey stock
  • 2 teaspoons grated nutmeg

For the Gravy

  • ¼ cup fat from the turkey drippings
  • 1 tablespoon cannabutter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cups turkey broth (use the bones from the turkey to make a broth)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

 

Instructions:

  • Heat the oven to the highest temperature.
  • Add oil, sage leaves, and 6 slices of bacon strips in a saucepan. While cooking, peel and chop 2 cloves of garlic and 1 onion. Fry everything until it is soft and golden. Remove the pan from the heat to add the breadcrumbs.
  • Once the stuffing has cooled, add the minced pork, lemon zest, nutmeg, eggs, and seasoning.
  • Cut the remaining bacon in half, then slice and dice a garlic clove. Add a sprig of rosemary and a sliver of garlic to the end of the bacon strip, then roll it well. Repeat with the other pieces until there are 12 rolls in total.
  • Pierce the thighs and drumsticks of the turkey in 6 places on each side. Place a bacon roll in each hole. Peel the remaining onions in half, and cut the carrots into large slices.
  • Wash the turkey, then place it on a cutting board with the neck facing you. Peel off the skin, then lift it and pour the stuffing in.
  • Measure the turkey with stuffing and calculate the cooking time – it’s about 20 minutes per 1 lb 2 oz.
  • Put it in a cooking pot, sprinkle it with olive oil, and season it generously. Cover the rest with carrots, onions, and garlic. Cover the meat and vegetables with foil, then put them in the oven for the right time.
  • Remove the foil for the last 45 minutes to let the turkey turn brown.
  • Remove the turkey from the tray and let it sit on a board covered with aluminum foil for 1 hour.
  • Remove the fat from the top of the cooking surface to start making the gravy.
  • Place the fat in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour until dissolved, then add the broth, cannabutter, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir the mixture and cook until it bubbles, then carve the turkey and serve with the gravy.
